What's the Greener Way To Buy?

I'm sure this isnt the most original article, but I stumbled upon this TreeHugger.com piece that took a serious look at the factors of buying at a brick-and-mortar store versus buying online. The author makes some very thoughtful considerations. I wonder which would be the greener choice living in Teton County?
