Tim O'Donoghue is the Executive Director of the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce. Other roles Tim has served in the Jackson Hole community include Chair of the Town of Jackson and Teton County Energy Efficiency Advisory Board and Chair of the Teton Climate Collaborate and its Teton Area 10x10 Program. Tim's professional corporate and nonprofit sector experience includes program and project management and strategic planning in the energy, education, health and wellness, sports, and space science industries; private consulting; and authoring/co-authoring over 60 publications. Tim began visiting Jackson Hole and the Teton area in the 1970s and moved to Jackson Hole in 1999. | ![]() |
Sarah Mitchell was brought up in rural upstate N.Y. and spent much of her youth raising farm animals and playing in the woods. In 1995 Sarah moved to Prescott, AZ to attend Prescott College and graduated in 1999 with a BA degree in Wilderness Therapy. While attending Prescott Sarah studied the effects of the natural environment upon human emotions, creating a program for addicts and alcoholics to utilize while engaged in the treatment process. Upon graduation she moved to Jackson where she had the opportunity to learn from at-risk youth residing in residential treatment facilities. After working with youth for five years, Sarah went back to school and got her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University and began working for Teton County as their Grant Writer. In the winter of 2007 the County gave Sarah the opportunity to assist in launching the Town and County Energy Efficiency Initiative, aimed at reducing local government's use of fossil fuels and energy use by 10% by 2010. Sarah is married to Andy Cavallaro and has lived in Jackson since 1999. She enjoys working and recreating with the wonderful people of the Jackson Hole community. | ![]() |
Keith Peters runs kpcomm.biz, a marketing communications company, and Eco-Logistics.biz, a company dedicated to helping participant sporting events become more environmentally responsible. Prior to moving to Jackson Hole in 2001, Keith enjoyed a long career at Nike, where various assignments in sports marketing and public relations provided perfect training for what he does now. | ![]() |
Heather Overholser has been involved in environment-related projects and programs in Jackson Hole, Wyoming for over a decade. Before becoming Executive Director of Jackson Community Recycling in 2003, Heather was the Development Director and Outreach Coordinator at the Jackson Hole Conservation Alliance for nine years, focusing her energies on fundraising and community outreach. Heather has served as the chair of the Wyoming Recycling Task Force, and as a member of the Wyoming Solid Waste and Recycling Association Board of Directors and the Wyoming Citizens Advisory Group for Solid Waste and Recycling. She has a B.A. in American Studies and Environmental Studies from Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. | ![]() |
Keith Sunshine owns Sunshine Development Consulting and has been planning, designing and managing local construction projects for over eight years, before which he was a Contractor and an Owner's Representative. Keith strives to reduce construction waste and increase environmental design. He is a Professional Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional and holds his BS of Civil Engineering and Master of International Business. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Africa, a Construction Management Expert Volunteer for tsunami reconstruction in India and speaks French and Spanish. Keith has volunteered with various local organizations over the years and currently serves as the Vice President of Teton Toastmasters and helps low income families with income tax preparation. | ![]() |
Brian Tanabe is the Marketing and Communications Manager for the local energy provider, Lower Valley Energy. Brian has spent his 5 years at the energy cooperative, among other things, championing the causes of energy efficiency and energy awareness in the service territory. After stints in Hawaii, Oregon, and Thailand, Brian finally landed in Jackson in 1996. Brian is a Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce Board of Director and serves on the Town of Jackson and Teton County Energy Efficiency Advisory Board's Communication subcommittee. | ![]() |
Some people have a green thumb — Nancy Taylor has a green heart, mind and soul. Nancy is the author of "Go Green: How to Build an Earth Friendly Community," teaches classes in yoga, meditation and green building, has a business called Green Living and Building Consulting, and has written the weekly "Going Green" column for Planet Jackson Hole since 2004. Reflecting Nancy's wide range of environmental interests, her columns have covered the gamut from global warming to toxic chemicals to renewable energy. Andy Tyson, co-founder and owner of Creative Energies, which specializes in developing innovative renewable energy solutions for commercial and residential properties. He is certified as an Energy Star home performance specialist, and regularly consults on energy efficiency and renewable energy options. He is a former international mountain guide and expedition leader, having worked for Exum, the National Outdoor Leadership School, and other international guide companies. He is a published author and lives with his wife Molly in their passive solar and solar electric home in Victor, Idaho. Andy regularly volunteers for local sustainability efforts and currently serves as the vice Chair of the Teton Climate collaborative. | ![]() |

Juliet Unfried grew up on the east coast and graduated from Wellesley College in 2000 with a B.A. in Psychology. In 2002 she migrated west to Jackson Hole and worked with local youth in a variety of capacities through the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Ski School and Teton Youth and Family Services. In the fall of 2007 she switched gears and became involved with sustainability initiatives in the area such as Sustaining Jackson Hole and the RRR committee. Juliet recently completed a graduate program in sustainable entrepreneurship at Bainbridge Graduate Institute. She believes that truly sustainable entities create social, environmental, economic and spiritual value so she is excited to help cultivate sustainability in Jackson. | ![]() |
